Print Engine Exercise Menu
This submenu contains a group of functions intended to stimulate a specific portion of the print
engine system in such a way that the test can be observed. Listening observations may be
required for certain tests and will prompt you on the control panel if covers, doors, or trays need
to be removed.

The tests pulse the specified target causing it to generate a
sound or motion. The Exercise All function cycles each of the
listed components below 4 times, in sequence, until interrupted
by pressing the Cancel button. The other functions continue
cycling repeatedly until interrupted by a control panel key
press. The Cancel button should be pressed only when the
state is Off

The motor and shaft functions drive the specified motor or shaft
enough to generate enough motion to be easily observed (usu-
ally 1 revolution), without making a substantial change to the
state of the system.The Exercise All function cycles each of the
listed motors/shafts 3 times in sequence until interrupted by a
control panel button press. The other functions continue to
cycle the motor/shaft repeatedly until interrupted by a control
panel key press.

(The Ink Melt Heaters
remain On for 4 sec-
onds.).
Allows the heaters to be forced to an On or Off condition or to
be toggled from one condition to the other. Also provides moni-
toring to observe the resulting heater power or temperature.
