9.1.3 LGC board
(3) Remove 5 screws, disconnect 2 connectors,
and then take off the HDD.

(4) Remove 4 screws and then remove 2
brackets and the ground wire from the HDD.

(1) Take off the rear cover

(2) Disconnect 16 connectors, remove 4 screws,
and then take off the LGC board [1].
Notes:
When replacing the LGC board, remove
IC29 from the old board and then install it on
the new one.
• When installing EEPROM (IC29)[2], be sure
that its pins are attached in the correct
direction and not misaligned.
• Do not touch the pins of EEPROM (IC29)[2]
with your bare hands. (Be careful of static
electricity.)
