11.5.10 Converter Firmware (MJ-1033)

Important: 

•

The harness jig for board connection (HRNS-CNV-DL-JIG) is required for updating the 
firmware of the CNV board of the finisher as well as the download jig (K-PWA-DLM-320).

•

Be sure to connect the equipment and finisher before updating the CNV board firmware.

•

Be sure to shut down the equipment before installing and removing the download jig.

•

Do not shut down the equipment during the update. The data could be damaged and not be 
operated properly.

(1)

Install the ROM [2] to the download jig (K-PWA-DLM-320) [1].
Make sure that the type of the ROM and the installation direction are correct. 

(2)

Turn OFF the power of the connected equipment.

(3)

Take off the rear cover of the Finisher.
(Refer to MJ-1033/6008 Service Manual P4-4 "[E] Rear cover")

(4)

Remove the CNV board from the equipment.

(5)

Connect the 10-pin side of the harness jig for board connection (HRNS-CNV-DL-JIG) [6] to the 
connector (CN2) [7] of the CNV board.
