4.9.6 Center / Side / Edge thermistor (THMS1/THMS2/THMS3)
(3) Pull out the center heater lamp, side heater
lamp, and sub heater lamp.
Notes:
1. Do not touch the lamps directly with bare
hands.
2. Be careful not to deform the fuser roller
by pushing strongly.

(1) Take off the fuser roller unit

(2) Place the fuser roller unit [1] upside down.
(3) Remove 2 screws, and then take off the
harness cover [2].
Notes:
When installing the harness cover [2], make
sure that the harness is not caught.

(4) Take out the thermistor by removing 1 screw
each.
Notes:
1. When installing the thermistors, check the
length of the harness first and distinguish
the installation positions of the side
thermistor and edge thermistor by the
length of each harness.
2. When installing, be careful not to deform
the thermistor. Also, make sure that the
thermistor is in touch with the fuser roller.
