17.3.6 Disposal
Dispose needle, sensor support, sterile cover by requirements of the manufacturer. Contact the
manufacturer for details.
Dispose the bracket after sterilization. Contact Mindray for bracket disposal.
17.4 Biopsy Grid
It is used to correctly position the needle insertion coordinate in the prostate biopsy operation, in
conjunction with the positioning grid bracket.
Tap [C-L] on the touchscreen or press the user-defined keys for “Switching Probe” on the probe.
17.5 Middle Line
Middle Line helps to locate and observe the focus point of lithotripsy wave during lithotripsy
treatment. By means of providing information for the lithotripsy machine as well as a tool for
watching the procedure of lithotripsy in real-time, you can adjust the intension and frequency of the
lithotripsy wave through lithotripsy machine.
Tap [Middle Line] in the biopsy tab or preset a shortcut key for middle line function.
•
The middle line is a vertical dotted line located in the middle of the screen, the position and
direction of which cannot be changed.
•
There is a mark icon of “×” located on the middle line which can be moved up and down along
the line by using the trackball.
•
To use the Middle Line function of the ultrasound system:
a.
Use the trackball to change the mark position and by adjusting lithotripsy machine tools
or patient posture to locate the stone center at the mark.
b.
Read the depth of the mark by observing the depth caliper on the screen.
c.
After the stone is located, refer to lithotripsy machine manuals to perform the lithotripsy.
•
The depth of the mark is displayed in the image parameter area of the screen.

Guideline
Virtual line.
• Image with mark: guideline turns green if it can cross the mark.
Otherwise, the guideline turns brown.
• Image with no mark: guideline displays in brown.
Tap [Guideline] to display or hide the guideline.
