If " " is entered after the pause ("P") or timed pause ("T") is entered, it is not recognized as the separator of a sub
address and is sent as tone signals (DTMF) containing " " even when Sub address is "ON".

By setting the noise canceller function that suppresses the ambient noise, your voice and the
other party's voice can be made clearer.

In-Car Hands-Free
Talking without using a hand in a car
When FOMA terminal is connected to a handsfree-compatible device such as In-Car Hands-
Free Kit 01 (optional) or car navigation system, voice calls can be made or received using the
handsfree-compatible device.

For operations of handsfree-compatible devices, see the operation manual for the respective devices.
Note that FOMA In-Car Hands-Free Cable 01 (optional) is required to use In-Car Hands-Free Kit 01
(optional).

When the setting is made to emit ring alert from a handsfree-compatible device, the ring alert of a handsfree-
compatible device sounds regardless of the settings of Silent mode or Ring alert setting on the FOMA terminal.

When the setting is made to emit sounds from a handsfree-compatible device, the call continues even when
FOMA terminal is folded, regardless of settings in Close settings.
･
Incoming operations with Public mode ON depend on settings in Public mode.
･
When Answer machine is set, incoming operations depend on the settings of Answer machine.
･
If a videophone call is made with a handsfree-compatible device using Phonebook or Redial, the data rate
depends on the data rate setting of the handsfree-compatible device. If no data rate setting is made, the
videophone call is made at fixed 64K.

When a videophone call is made/received with a handsfree-compatible device, a substitute image is sent to the
other party.

You cannot answer calls just by opening FOMA terminal.
