(upgraded).

downloaded with a different UIM
A confirmation screen is displayed asking
whether to overwrite. When you select
"Yes", the downloaded i-
α
ppli overwrites
the existing i-
α
ppli.

When Set stand-by disp. is set to "Yes", a
confirmation screen is displayed asking
whether to set as the stand-by display.
When "Yes" is selected, the i-

ppli is set as
stand-by display. i-Channel ticker is
canceled when Show ticker of Ticker setting
is set to "Yes".

When the memory is not enough or the maximum
number of saved items is reached, follow the
instructions on the screen and delete stored i-
α
ppli.
Even when downloading has failed, deleted i-
α
ppli or
data deleted at the same time from microSD memory
card are not restored.

Downloading of i-
α
ppli may be disabled if free space
in the IC card is not sufficient (regardless of free
space in the i-
α
ppli storage area) or the i-
α
ppli to be
downloaded is Osaifu-Keitai compatible i-
α
ppli that
uses the same services as those used by another
Osaifu-Keitai compatible i-
α
ppli already saved. In that
case, delete the i-
α
ppli following instructions
displayed on the screen. However, some of i-
α
ppli to
be deleted may not be displayed depending on the
type of i-
α
ppli. Also, some types of i-
α
ppli requires to
start or download it again and delete the data in the
IC card.

When download or communication is interrupted, a
confirmation screen may appear asking whether or
not to resume. Select "Yes" to continue downloading;
when "No" is selected, a confirmation screen appears
asking whether or not to make partial saving, if
possible. If partial saving is impossible, on the
confirmation screen asking whether to restart, select
"No" to delete data already downloaded. Remaining
data of i-
α
ppli partially saved can be downloaded
from a software list.

Downloading Message i-

ppli
When Message i-
α
ppli is downloaded, the folders
for Message i-
α
ppli are automatically created in the
folder list of Inbox, Outbox and Unsent messages.
The automatically created folder name is set to the
name of the Message i-
α
ppli downloaded, which
cannot be changed.

Up to 5 items of Message i-
α
ppli (as part of the
100 items maximum of i-
α
ppli that can be saved)
can be saved. When the maximum number of
saved items is reached, follow the instructions on
the screen and delete stored folder for Message
i-
α
ppli.

If Message i-
α
ppli that uses the same message
folder has already been saved in the FOMA
terminal, it cannot be downloaded.

If a Message i-

ppli is tried to be downloaded again
while only the relevant Message i-
α
ppli folder
remains, a confirmation screen is displayed asking
whether to use the folder. When you select "Yes", the
Message i-
α
ppli is downloaded. If you choose not to
use the message folder and to create a new folder,
delete the folder before downloading the Message
i-
α
ppli.
