Safety Settings
･
Omakase Lock is a service that locks FOMA terminal on request from the subscriber of UIM installed in it. The
FOMA terminal is locked on request from the subscriber even when the holder of FOMA terminal is different from
the subscriber.
･
Omakase Lock is a service that locks FOMA terminal in which UIM you have subscribed to is inserted.
･
Omakase Lock can be canceled only when the same UIM used when activating Omakase Lock is inserted. Note
that, if the lock is unable to cancel, contact the phone number for inquiries on the back of this manual.
Self mode
MENU 858
Preventing making/receiving calls
Making/receiving calls or PushTalk calls, using i-mode, sending/receiving messages and all
functions that require communications are disabled in Self mode ON. In addition, infrared
communications/iC transmission, infrared remote control and GPS, as well as data transfer
using PC connection are also disabled.

Registering, editing and deleting notification registrations to/from LCS clients list of GPS are also disabled.

If you receive a call in Self mode ON, a message is played for the caller that you are out of service area or your
terminal is turned OFF. The caller can use Voice Mail service and Call forwarding service.

When there is an incoming PushTalk call in Self mode ON, the call is rejected and the caller hears a busy tone.
･
i-mode mail and MessageR/F are stored in i-mode Center and SMS in SMS Center when they are received during
Omakase Lock ON. To receive messages, perform i-mode/SMS inquiry after canceling Self mode.

If emergency calls (110, 119 and 118) are dialed in Self mode ON, Self mode is canceled.
PIM lock
Preventing display of Phonebook or Scheduler
Displaying and tampering private information can be prevented.

This function cannot be activated when Unregistered caller is set to "ON".

Calls made or received during PIM lock ON are recorded. Making calls from Redial or Received calls is
enabled.
