Data Operation
Regular format:
Both the data management and data areas
in microSD memory card are formatted. To
format a new microSD memory card, use
this method.

The data may not be formatted depending on the
condition of microSD memory card.
Updating the microSD memory card
information <Sync data info>
If the data is no longer correctly displayed in the
FOMA terminal by changing, adding or deleting
data in the microSD memory card using the other
devices, information in microSD memory card is
updated. Whether to update information by data
type can be set.

When information update is performed, the
display name of data is changed as follows:
- For the data in "My Picture", "Other image" or "Deco-
mail pictogram", the display name is changed to the
same name as the file name.
- For the data in "Melody", "Movie", "Other movie" or
"My Document", the display name is changed to the
same name as the title name. However, when no title
name is set, the display name is changed to the same
name as the file name.
- For the data in "ToruCa", the display name is changed
to the same name as the title name. However, when no
title name is set, the display name is changed to "
無題
(Untitled)".
- For the single data in "LCS client", the display name is
changed to the same name as the service client name. If
service client name does not exist, the display name is
not displayed.
- For the data in "Other", the display name is changed to
the same name as the file name (including extension).

Updating information causes movie/i-motion
containing only sound, if any, saved in "Movie"
folder not to appear in a list. Before updating
information, you are recommended to move
movie/i-motion containing only sound in "Movie"
to FOMA terminal or save it to PRIVATE

When there are many data items saved in microSD
memory card, information update will take a long
time.

If available space becomes less than required for
creating management information in FOMA terminal
when data is saved in a microSD memory card with
other devices, data saved in the microSD memory
card may no longer be correctly displayed in FOMA
terminal.

Check data saved in the microSD memory card and
correct errors, if any.

Data in the microSD memory card inserted in
FOMA terminal can be operated from PC.
