Names and functions of parts
This section describes the F903i part names and the major functions assigned to keys.

Used for data exchange with the infrared
communication function.

The other party's voice comes out of here.

Used to shoot images of yourself with the
camera or movie camera or send images of
yourself over a videophone call.

MENU/Upper-left soft key
Use this key to display menus or perform the
operation shown in the upper left part of the
guide area.
Pressing and holding this key for 1 second or
more start/cancel Side key hold.

Videophone start/ ▲ (scroll)/ A/a /Lower left
soft key
Use this key to make/answer videophone calls,
scroll by pages of the mail screen or site/website
display, switch between cases when entering
characters, perform the operation shown in the
lower-left part of the guide area.
Pressing and holding this key for 1 second or
more make a videophone call using the
speakerphone function.

Use this key to display i-Channel list, switch

Use this key to make/answer voice calls, switch

between ordinary and speakerphone calls or
activate/cancel Auto focus.
Pressing and holding this key for 1 second or
more make a voice call using the speakerphone
function.

Use these key to enter phone numbers or text or
to execute menu items.
Pressing and holding a key for 1 second or more

Microphone
Picks up your voice.
Note: Do not cover the microphone with your finger
while talking on the phone or recording sound.

Light
Lights or flashes when there is an incoming call
or message, charging the battery, Lock on close
is activated, shooting still image, recording
movie, playing sounds by Music player or in
other cases.
