i-mode/i-motion/i-Channel
i-mode
With i-mode, you can use online services such as
site (Program), Internet or i-mode mail by way of
the display of i-mode compatible FOMA terminal
(hereinafter called as i-mode terminal).

i-mode is an optional subscriber service to be
charged requiring subscription. Please refer to
the back of this manual for contact information
for subscription.

For details of i-mode service, see the latest
"Mobile Phone User's Guide [i-mode]".
INFORMATION
･
The data such as messages and bookmarks can be
stored in your PC using data link software and USB
cable. If you subscribe to Data Security Service, you
can store messages in the Data Center.
･
Data such as mail and bookmarks can be saved to
microSD memory card (optional).

You can connect to i-mode to view various sites.

Before using i-mode
･
The contents of sites (programs) and Internet
websites are usually protected by copyright
laws. All or any portion of text, image or other
data imported to your i-mode terminal from a
site (program) or website cannot be altered
except for personal use, and cannot be sold
or redistributed in any form without the
express permission of the copyright holder.
･
Because data saved/registered in i-mode
terminal (mail, MessageR/F, screen memos,
i-

ppli and i-motion) and registered contents
of Bookmark may be lost due to failure, repair
or other handling of FOMA terminal, it is
recommended that you maintain a separate
record of the data you registered in your
FOMA terminal. We are not responsible for
any lost data.

When you insert another UIM other than
yours or you turn on FOMA terminal without
UIM, still images/i-motion/melodies
downloaded from sites, attached files sent/
received by mail (still image, movie or
melody, etc.), screen memos and MessageR/
F for some models cannot be displayed or
played.
･
When data with UIM operation restriction
function set has been set for the stand-by
display or ring alert, replacing UIM with
another one or turning the power ON with no
UIM inserted will change the settings back to
the default. It returns to the previous settings
when UIM is inserted which was used during
downloading the data.
