Phonebook
Copying phonebook entries
Entries in FOMA terminal phonebook are copied to UIM phonebook and from UIM
phonebook to FOMA terminal phonebook.

The FOMA terminal phonebook also can be copied into microSD memory card. → P333

If the entries of the phonebook contain the same group name as that in a copy destination phonebook,
the data will be copied to that group.

The phonebook data item to be copied and the contents are as follows:

If the number of characters exceeds the limit that can be saved in UIM phonebook, the exceeding part is deleted.

Name Up to 10 two-byte or 21 one-byte characters are
copied. However, up to 10 characters can be
copied when one- and two-byte characters are
both used or one-byte katakana is included.

The saved data is copied as it is.
Reading Up to 12 characters are copied. One-byte
katakana characters are replaced with two-byte
katakana characters.

Two-byte katakana characters are
replaced with one-byte katakana
characters.
Phone
number The first phone number is copied (Up to 26
digits are allowed; however, 20 digits for some
UIM types.

Only timed pause ("T") is deleted if the phone
number contains timed pause ("T"). The icons
