Settings of Sounds/Displays/Lights
When Personalized silent mode is activated
Operations are performed according to Vibrate alert, Operation sound, Call alert volume, Mail alert volume,
ToruCa alert volume, GPS alert volume, Low Battery Alert, Alarm sound, Schedule sound, i-
α
ppli sound
and Sensitize microphone settings made for Personalized silent mode in Silent mode.

Note that the following sound, except for Chara-den recording sound, is emitted in Silent mode ON:
- Shooting confirmation sound for shooting with still image or movie (shutter sound)
- Recording confirmation sound for recording with Sound recorder (shutter sound)

In Silent mode ON, only messages appear even when the setting of Call cost limit is "ON" and alarm is set. In
Personalized silent mode, the alarm sounds according to the setting in Call alert volume of Personalized silent
mode.
Customizing Silent mode <Silent mode>
Select one of General and Personalized silent modes to be used. In Personalized, vibrator, keypad sound,
alert volume, etc. can be changed.

Silent mode can be changed even in Silent mode ON.

Vibrate alert : Sets the operation of Vibrator for incoming call or mail.

When set to "ON", incoming call/message is informed by vibration
according to Vibrate alert/effect.
Operation sound : Sets the volume of operation sound and terminal open/close and display
rotation sounds.
Call alert volume : Sets volume of a ring alert for incoming calls.
Mail alert volume : Sets volume of a ring tone for incoming mail.
ToruCa alert volume : Sets the volume of a confirmation sound for downloading ToruCa from IC
card reader (reader/writer).
GPS alert volume : Sets volume of GPS alert sound.
Low Battery Alert : Specifies whether to activate the alarm when the battery becomes low.
Alarm sound : Sets whether to emit Timer sound or alarm clock sound.

When "ON", the alarm clock sound is emitted according to the settings of
Alarm clock. "
目覚まし時計 (Alarm clock)" in Melody set by default sounds
as Timer sound with the volume set in Call alert volume of Personalized
silent mode.
Schedule sound : Sets whether to emit schedule reminder sound.

When "ON", the sound is emitted according to the settings of schedule
reminder.
