Settings of Sounds/Displays/Lights

Indicator light

Indicating newly arrived information such as missed
calls and unread messages with lighting

You can set whether to indicate unchecked missed call (voice/videophone call) or unread
information (message/chat mail/SMS), if any, by flashing the light while FOMA terminal is
being folded.

When there are unchecked missed calls with this field set to "ON", the light flashes at intervals of
approximately 6 seconds according to Light color for Call in Light alert. When there is unread
information, the light flashes at intervals of approximately 6 seconds according to Light color for
Mail in Light alert. Checking a newly arrived information stops blinking.

INFORMATION

If there is multiple newly arrived information, the light turns on in the following priority:

a

Missed call (voice/videophone call)

b

Unread information (message/chat mail/SMS)

If there are no information arrived for about 6 hours with Indicator light set to "ON" from the time the first

information was received or if

(indicating the number of New arrival) on the stand-by display is

deleted, the light stops flashing even before checking the information.

Setting light colors and lighting patterns used for an
incoming call/mail or during a call

This function is used to set the lighting patterns and colors of the light used when there is
an incoming voice/videophone call or PushTalk call, or when mail, chat mail or MessageR/F
is received. You can also set lighting and light color to be used during voice or videophone
call, ToruCa downloading, IC card accessing, GPS operation or lighting used when opening/
folding FOMA terminal or swinging the display.

The settings in this function are reflected to Light alert in Call alert, Videophone alert, PushTalk alert, Mail
alert, Chat mail alert, Message alert and ToruCa alert.

to light/flash the light with the pattern of cursor position.

When "Sync melody" is set, the light flashes in harmony with the ring tone. The lighting color
becomes "Rainbow" regardless of the setting of Light color. Note that, however, when there is
newly arrived information with Indicator light set to "ON", the light flashes according to Light
color.
