Received SMS are displayed in 2 lines on the
SMS Inbox (UIM) screen. The time and the
name/address of the sender are displayed in
the first line, and the top of the message, "SMS
report request" or "Notify missed call" is in the
second line.

: Unread (unable to reply)
: Read (able to reply)
: Read (unable to reply)
: SMS report request or Missed call

Read/Unread icon in the list indicates
whether the SMS in the UIM was displayed.
The status of unread/read before moving or
copying is also carried over.

For SMS sent from an overseas sender, the
sender address is preceded by "+".

When sent SMS is moved or copied to UIM,
the sent date and time are erased from the
sent SMS in the UIM. Note that for sent SMS
with SMS report request set, the sent date
and time are displayed.

･

When SMS is sent or received after time is
corrected while staying overseas (except
GMT+09:00),

appears succeeding the

sending or receiving date/time.

INFORMATION

･

From SMS in the UIM, you can also reply to or

forward received SMS, resend SMS already sent,

change the font size, save in the phonebook and

perform other operations. The operation is the same

as that of received/sent SMS.

･

When you perform reply/forward, resend, etc. from

the SMS in the UIM, the SMS already sent are saved

in a folder of Outbox of FOMA terminal.

Moving/Copying SMS (Short
Message) in UIM to FOMA terminal

I

When you move or copy a sent SMS with SMS
report request, the corresponding SMS report
request is moved or copied to the folder of Inbox
together. You cannot move or copy only sent
SMS or only SMS report request.
