Storing mail in Data Center
<Data Security Service>
By using Data Security Service, i-mode mail and
SMS can be stored in Data Center on the network.
In case data saved in FOMA terminal is lost by
misplacement, wetting or other reasons,
you can restore saved data from Data Center
through i-mode operations.
I
This is an optional subscriber service to be
charged requiring subscription. When you have
not subscribed to this service, attempting to
connect to Data Center displays the screen
indicating that.
I
SMS report request cannot be stored.
I
A message exceeding 100 Kbytes cannot be
saved/restored. Note that when a message not
exceeding 100 Kbytes with files attached has
been stored in Data Center, it can be restored
though it may exceed 100 Kbytes.
I
Up to 10 images can be stored by one operation.
I
For details of restoration, see "Mobile Phone
User's Guide [i-mode]". Restored message is
protected. However, it is not protected in the
following cases:
- When received message or SMS saved in Data Center is
unread
- When the number of protected messages saved has
reached the limit
I
Logs of saving in Data Center can be viewed.
