Warning
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal injury:

Do not use a two-conductor mains power cord unless you
install a protective ground wire to the Product ground terminal
before you operate the Product.
•
Make sure that the Product is grounded before use.
The
CHASSIS GROUND
terminal is internally grounded to the chassis. If the Calibrator is the
location of the ground reference point in a system, this binding post can be used to connect other
instruments to earth ground. Refer to the “Connect the Calibrator to a UUT” section in Chapter 4.
The
AC Power Input Module
gives you a grounded three-prong connector that takes the line
power cord, a switch mechanism to select the line voltage, and a line power fuse. See the
“Prepare for Operation” section in Chapter 2 for information on selecting the operating line
voltage, and fuse rating and replacement information.
