Introduction
Warning
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal injury, do
not make connections to the output terminals when voltage is
present. Standby mode is not sufficient to prevent shock
hazard because
could be pushed accidently. Push
and make sure that the Calibrator is in standby before you
make connections to the output terminals.
This chapter gives instructions to operate the Calibrator from the front panel. For a
description of front-panel controls, displays, and terminals, see Chapter 3, “Features”.
Turn on the Calibrator
When the Calibrator is on, the initial display is “Starting Up...” (see below) and it
completes a self-test routine. If a self-test fails, the Control Display shows an error code.
For a description of error codes, see Chapter 7, “Maintenance.”
