To apply and activate a logging suppression rule, use the

logging suppress apply rule

command in global

configuration mode. To deactivate a logging suppression rule, use the

form of this command.

Syntax Description

Name of the logging suppression rule to activate.

rule-name

(Optional) Applies the specified logging suppression rule to alarms originating
from all locations on the router.

all-of-router

(Optional) Applies the specified logging suppression rule to alarms originating
from the specified node. The

node-id

argument is entered in the

rack/slot/module

notation.
