Usage Guidelines
Use the
performance-mgmt apply monitor
command to apply a statistics template and enable monitoring.
This command captures one cycle of a sample to analyze an instance of an entity. Rather than collect statistics
for all instances, which is the purpose of the
performance-mgmt apply statistics
command, the
performance-mgmt apply monitor
command captures statistics for a specific entity instance for one sampling
period.
The
type
and
interface-path-id
arguments are only to be used with the
interface data-rates
or
interface
generic-counter
keyword.
