The Strms Pg 1 side tab is used to control Streams 1 through 16, and Strms Pg 2
controls Streams 17 through 32.
When the processor is licensed for the Advanced Ethernet test option, then up to 32
independent test streams can be configured and simultaneously generated and tested
per port. Otherwise, only
1 test stream can be generated and tested per port.
The MPM-400G card supports only 1 test stream to generate and test 400GE
packets.
On/Off
Checkboxes (1-32) Enables packet generation for the specified Stream Id.
When enabled (on) the selected stream will begin
transmitting packet at the Rate specified in the Traffic Stream
Profile dialog box. By default, each stream is configured for
1.00% BW.
If the total configured bandwidth for all streams enabled
exceeds 100%, the processor will evenly scale back the
actual rates generated to achieve a maximum bandwidth of
exactly 100%.
All Selecting All with Enable/Disable all 32 test streams
simultaneously.
If one or more streams are currently enabled, then All
disables all enabled streams. If no streams are currently
enabled, then All enables all test streams on both Pg1 and
Pg2.
If the total configured bandwidth for all streams enabled
exceeds 100%, the processor will evenly scale back the
actual rates generated to achieve a maximum bandwidth of
exactly 100%.
The parameters for each test stream are displayed in the Stream Profile Table as
individual rows, with a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom that can be used to see all of
the columns in the table.
Selecting a Stream (row) from the profile table opens the Traffic Stream Profile dialog
box from which the stream parameters are configured.
