STS-<#> Dropped
Selects a specific STS-# to monitor in the received SONET
signal, where # is the size of the Mapping.
When available, select the
STS-<#> Dropped
button to enter
the number of the specific STS channel number to be
demuxed and then processed.
For example, this setting selects which of the four STS-
48c channels in an OC-192 signal to be monitored.
The options that appear will depend on your current
Interface and Mapping configuration. The default setting is 1.
When
All Path
mapping is selected, this setting is
renamed to
SPE Dropped
. In this mode, all STS-n channels
are analyzed for Errors and Alarms from the Results > All
Path screen, regardless of the selected SPE Dropped.
Payload Pattern
Selects the type of pattern that the unit expects to receive on
the incoming SONET signal.
Select one of the following patterns:

When the actual pattern being received does not match
the expected payload pattern, then a pattern mismatch (
) alarm occurs.
Power Low
Threshold
Sets the threshold for which the
When the received optical power level (in dBm) is lower than
the power low threshold setting, the Power Low alarm will
occur. (MPM-10G card only)
The threshold value is entered using an on-screen keypad,
and can range from -10.0 dBm to -100.0 dBm in increments
of 0.1 dBm. The default value is -100.0 (Disabled).
For the MPM-100G and MPM-100AR cards, the
setting is supported on the MLD tab.
