LP Signal Label
Bits 5 through 7 of the V5 byte are allocated for a LP Signal
Label to indicate the content of the LP SPE, including the
status of the LP mapped payload.
The following options are available:

00 (Unequipped)

01 (Equipped)

02 (Asynchronous)
•
03 (Bit Synchronous)
•
04 (Byte Synchronous)
•
(05) ATM
•
06 (O.181 Test Signal Mapping)
•
07 (VC-AIS)
•
User Defined
- Any 3-bit value 0h to 7h
This option is only available for C-2, C-12, and C-11
mappings.
Synchronization
Status (S1)
Allows the user to set the S1 byte to one of the following:

00 Quality Unknown)
•
02 (Rec. G.811)
•
04 (Rec. G.812 Transit)
•
08 (Rec. G.812 Local)
•
0B (Sync Eqip Timing Src (SETS))
•
0F (Do Not Use for Sync)
•
User Defined
(any eight bit pattern 0 to FF)
Trigger In
Trigger In is currently not supported.
