Dfct Idle
Enables or Disables Deficit Idle Count.
In order to achieve the maximum 100% bandwidth, test tools
and devices under test require Deficit Idle Count (DIC) to be
enabled (default). By providing an option to disable DIC, this
allows for compatibility with both current and legacy 10
Gigabit Ethernet equipment which may not support this
option.
Deficit Idle Count allows the 10G Ethernet processor to
violate the minimum Inter-Packet Gap (IPG) of 12 byte by
adding or subtracting up to 3 bytes. This allows the IPG to
range between 9 to 15 bytes as need to prevent dropped
packets, and averages to around 12 bytes when possible.
This setting is only available for 10 Gbps opt LAN
Flow Control
Enables or Disables Flow Control.
