Only available when a VT mapping is selected.
AIS-V Virtual Tributary Alarm Indication Signal. The transmission of
an AIS-V to a downstream NE forcing that NE to send a AIS-
V alarm to the next downstream NE. The NE will also send
an RDI-V alarm to its upstream equipment.
Only available when a VT mapping is selected.
LOP-V Virtual Tributary Loss of Pointer. This simulates a loss of a
valid VT Pointer. When the downstream NE receives a LOP-
V, it generates a AIS-V alarm to its downstream equipment
and a RDI-V alarm to its upstream equipment.
Only available when a VT mapping is selected.
LOM-V Virtual Tributary Loss of Multiframe Alignment. Generates a
loss of a valid VT multiframe pattern to downstream
equipment. The NE will also send an RDI-V alarm to its
upstream equipment.
Only available when a VT mapping is selected.
TC-RDI-P Tandem Connection-Remote Defect Indicator. Generates an
alarm to upstream equipment indicating that defects have
been detected within the Tandem Connection. The TCM
equipment receiving this alarm should detect a change to Bit
8 in multiframe 73 of the Z5 byte.
Only appears when the TC Overhead Processing is
configured for " Path Enable ".
TC-ODI-P Tandem Connection-Outgoing Defect Indicator. Generates
an alarm to upstream TCM equipment indicating that defects
have been detected within the Tandem Connection. The
TCM equipment receiving this alarm should detect a change
to Bit 7 in multiframe 74 of the Z5 byte.
Only appears when the TC Overhead Processing is
configured for " Path Enable ".
