The LED turns Red when an error or alarm is currently being
received, and reverts to Green when there is no current error
or alarm activity
•
The word Summary remains Green until an error or alarm is
received
•
If Summary turns Red , then it will remain Red until the test is
restarted to indicate history of the received error or alarm
activity
Elapsed
Time The duration in Days:Hours:Minutes:Seconds that the current
OTUCn test has been running.
Only the OTUCn group's controlling Slice (Slice #1) displays the
OTUCn test's Elapsed Time.
Stop When the Stop button is selected, the following occurs:
•
The OTUCn group's Elapsed Time counter in the OTUCn
Instances menu stops incrementing
•
The Elapsed Time counter on every OTN port in the OTUCn
group stops incrementing
•
Every OTN port (Slice) in the OTUCn group stop's logging
alarm, error, and event statistics reported by the port's Results
function.
Only the OTUCn group's controlling Slice (Slice #1) displays the
Stop button. If the Stop button in the Common Function Button row is
pressed for any OTN port (Slice) in the OTUCn group, not just Slice
#1, then this too will stop the test for the entire OTUCn group.
Restart When the Restart button is selected, the following occurs:
•
The OTUCn group's Elapsed Time counter in the OTUCn
Instances menu resets to
000 Days, 00 Hours, 00 Minutes,
and 00 Seconds , and then begins to increment after the
Restart finishes
•
The Elapsed Time counter on every OTN port in the OTUCn
group resets and begin incrementing
•
The alarm, error, and event statistics reported by each OTN
port (Slice) in the OTUCn group reset to zero, and begins
logging new incoming activity
