The "RS232" dialog enables you to control the instrument over a serial interface
using a USB adapter. The controller and the instrument must be connected with
the external USB/serial-adapter R&S TS1-USB (see recommended extras in the
data sheet) and a serial crossover (null modem) cable. The USB connection
requires the Visa library to be installed on the controller. Visa detects and config-
ures the R&S
SMM100A automatically when the USB connection is established.

Chapter 13.17, "SYSTem subsystem"
Settings:
Baud Rate
Sets the baudrate for the serial remote control interface.
Remote command:
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial:BAUD
Parity
Sets the parity for the serial remote control interface.
Remote command:
:SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial:PARity
Stop Bits
Sets the number of stop bits for the serial remote control interface.
