Function for operation with product sensor.
Determines the reaction of the machine on a product start error. A product
start error occurs in the following cases:
•
If a further start signal arrives, before the current label is completely printed.
•
With mounted I/O board or USI board only
: If a reprint is requested, before
the first label after powering on is printed.
•
If a start signal arrives and no printjob is loaded.
If a product start error occurs, the machine stops and displays the appropriate
status message. If an I/O board or an USI is installed, the following output sig-
nals are activated (set low):
•
ERROR\
•
MACHINE STATUS\
On
(Default) Start errors are worked up (the machine stops!)
Off
Start errors are being ignored.

Function for operation with product sensor.
If this function is activated, the printer ignores all start signals until the product
has passed the dispensing edge.
