Printer setup
1. Insert the WLAN CF card into the printers card slot. Switch the printer on.
In the printer menu
INTERF. PARAM. > NETWORK PARAM.
, additional parameters for
WLAN operation show up.
The LED at the card is flashing as long as the card is not logged in at the access
point.
2. Make the following settings in the
INTERF. PARAM. > NETWORK PARAM.
menu:

to „LPD Server“.
4. Restart printer to activate the settings.
Connecting
1. Connect the access point to the PC using a crossed link cable. Connect the ac-
cess point to the mains supply and switch it on.
2. Check, if the LED at the WLAN CF card lights up permanent. If it does not, check
the following points:
– Is the card plugged firmly into the card slot?
– Does the card match one of the supported card types?
– Is the parameter
INTERF. PARAM. > NETWORK PARAM. > WLAN SSID
set to „idt“
(small letters!)?
CAUTION! - Network manipulations can disturb or avoid proper network operation.
Before connecting any device to a network, always ensure the approval of the net-
work administrator.
