• Place black electrode on left shoulder
under clavicle.
• V1-Fourth intercostal space, right
sternal border.
• Place white electrode on right shoulder
under clavicle.
• V2-Fourth intercostal space, left sternal
border.
• Place red electrode on lower left
abdomen under the sixth rib.
• V3-Midway between V2 and V4 on a
line joining these 2 locations.
• Place green electrode on lower right
abdomen under the ribs.
• V4-Fifth interspace in mid-clavicular
line.
• Place the brown lead in any one of the
V lead (V1 - V6) positions, see
• V5-Fifth interspace in anterior axillary
line.
• V6-Fifth interspace in mid-axillary line.
