6.6 Checking Oil Level in Hydraulic Reservoir

1. Check the oil level using the lower sight (A) and the
upper sight (B) with the cutterbar just touching the
ground and with center-link retracted.
NOTE:
Check the level when the oil is cold.
2. Ensure the oil is at the appropriate level for the terrain
as follows:
•
Hilly terrain: Maintain level so lower sight (A) is full,
and upper sight (B) is up to one-half filled.
•
Normal terrain: Maintain level so lower sight (A) is
full, and upper sight (B) is empty.
