Reserved Register Addresses and Fields
Reserved register addresses should not be read or written. Reads to reserved register addresses return
unspecified data. Writes to reserved register addresses can lead to unpredictable results.
For the RapidIO Standard Registers (
to
), the Reserved fields should always be
written as 0.
For the IDT implementation-specific registers (
), a read modify write operation
must be performed for register reserved fields that have an undefined reset value. Other reserved fields
should always be written as 0 unless otherwise noted.
