Description
Add and configure an SNMPv3 target address and associate filtering, security, and notifications with
that address.
Syntax Description

The default values are:

tag-list—the single tag

Usage Guidelines
Use this command to create an entry in the SNMPv3 snmpTargetAddressTable. The
param
parameter
associates the target address with an entry in the snmpTargetParamsTable, which specifies security and
storage parameters for messages to the target address, and an entry in the snmpNotifyFilterProfileTable,
which specifies filters to use for notifications to the target address.

Specifies that the value to follow is to be supplied as a colon separated string
of hex octets.
addr name
Specifies a string identifier for the target address.
param name
Specifies the parameter name associated with the target.
ip address
Specifies an SNMPv3 target IP address.
target-addr mask
Specifies a hex octet string used to mask the target address. For example, f7a
indicates 1.1.1.1.0.1.1.1.1.0.1.0.
port
Specifies a UDP port. Default is 162.
source ip address
Specifies the IP address of a VLAN to be used as the source address for the
trap
tag
Specifies a string identifier for the notifications to be sent to the target.
volatile
Specifies volatile storage.
