In a partitioned system the Radio Keypad ABCD keys default to the following
functions: A Full = Set Partition 1, B = = Full Set Partition 2, C = Full Set
Partition 3, D = Full Set Partition 4.
In a part setting system the Radio Keypad ABCD keys default to the following
functions: A = Full Set, B = part set B, C = part set C, D = part set D.
In either part setting or partitioned systems the ABCD can be reprogrammed
to operate outputs that have the type ―User Defined‖.
Single Action Unset for DD243 from Radio Keypad
The radio keypad is capable of providing single action unset. You can enable or
disable this feature by using a jumper on the ―DD243 Single Action Unset‖ pins
on the radio keypad printed circuit board.
Jumper Fitted
: the radio keypad transmits an unset command two seconds
after the user presents a recognised proximity tag. This feature is designed for
use when the keypad is working with DD243 compliant systems.
(Note that this delay does not apply to the setting procedure.)
Jumper Not fitted
: the keypad transmits a command after a user has
presented their proximity tag, and then pressed another key (A, B, or unset).
External Sirens
The 760ES external radio siren is a weather-proof battery powered siren
designed to operate on external walls. In an alarm the control unit triggers the
external siren at the same time as the internal siren. The 760ES external siren
runs for either: five seconds, three minutes, or 15 minutes depending on the
position of a link within the sounder.
Each expander can learn up to two external radio sirens.
See ‖System Capacities‖ on page 8 for the maximum number of radio sirens
each control unit in the i-onEX range can learn.
To program the external siren select

Radio Sirens and Partitions

In partitioned system you can assign a radio siren to any of the partitions. Any
radio siren can belong to one or more partitions.
Assigning a radio siren to partitions controls the response to tampers of those
partitions. If any assigned partition is set then a tamper to the radio siren will
cause an unconfirmed alarm. If there is an outstanding unconfirmed alarm
then this will cause a confirmed alarm to be generated.
When delivered from the factory, or if you restore the control unit to factory
settings, then all radio sirens belong to partition 1.
Once you have entered the Partitions option, press

the list of partitions followed by

each partition as necessary.
