Converts any zone originally programmed
as Final Exit back to Final Exit, so that the
entry time will start when the user opens
the entry door.
Starts a warning tone (distinct from the
entry tone).
If the user activates the Lock Set zone again
without starting the Entry Timer then the
control unit will change all Final Exit zones
back into Normal Alarm zones and stop the
warning tone.
Notes:
1
If you select Lock Set as the exit mode
then to comply with BS8243 you must set
“After entry” to “Never” in order to disable
confirmation (see page 85).
2.
Using a FOB-2W-4B to set a Lock Set
partition (or system) does not comply
with any setting modes in BS8243. It
could however be used on a compliant
system to unset the system if the building
is locked using electronic locks on the
entry doors.
Exit
Terminate
To set the system a user must first start the
setting sequence (using access code or prox
tag at a keypad, or by remote control) and
then complete setting once they have left the
protected area by activating an Exit Terminate
zone (see page 45).
When the user starts setting the exit time is
indefinite, and carries on until the user
operates the Exit Terminate zone. During exit
the control unit gives the exit tone for the
selected partition(s).
Once the user activates the Exit Terminate
zone the control unit sets the system. The
control unit also starts the settle time (if
specified, see below) at the end of which any
PIR zones become armed.
Notes: Using a FOB-2W-4B to set an Exit
Terminate partition (or system) does not
comply with any setting modes in
BS8243. It could however be used on a
compliant system to unset the system if
the building is locked using electronic
locks on the entry doors.
