On an i-onEX range control unit the bottom line
of the display shows the first of the available
radio expanders:
Note: This example assumes that your radio
expanders are bus devices 02 and 05. The
numbers may be different on the system you are
working on.

On an i-on40 control unit the bottom line of the
display shows:

that you wish allocate the external siren to, for

The bottom line of the display shows the first of
the device addresses used for radio sirens on
that expander. (See page 24 for an explanation
of radio siren numbering.) If a radio siren is
already learned into that address then the
bottom line of the display shows a ―*‖ on the left,
and the name of the siren.

keys to show the device address
that you want to use for the radio siren, for
example:

10. Insert the batteries in the external siren.
The display shows a message to confirm that the
system has learned the radio siren, together with
the current signal strength of the siren.
The keypad also sounds a double ―beep‖ when
the control unit successfully learns the siren.
11. Press
to go back to the list of sirens so that
you can go on and learn other sirens. The bottom
line of the display shows the default name of the
external siren the control unit has just learned.
