Transferring to Another Keypad

leaving the Installer Menu. To do this simply go to any other keypad and enter
the Installer access code. The new keypad will pick up your position in the
Installer Menu. The keypad you have left will briefly display the message
―Installer session transferred‖ for 5 seconds before reverting to the time and
date.
To leave the Installer Menu at any time:

2. Replace the control unit lid (if you removed it
earlier). Ensure the control unit tamper switch
is closed.

(Press

On an i-on16 or i-on40, the control unit saves
your changes and the display shows the time

On an i-onEX range control unit the display
shows:
The control unit scans the bus to check for any
devices that have been added or removed
without using the installer menu. On a large
system this may take several seconds.
When the control unit has finished scanning the
bus, the display shows the time and date. The
system is ready for use.
Duplicated Bus Devices
If the control unit finds that two bus devices
have the same bus address when you try to
leave Installer Menu, then it will show the
duplicated addresses on the keypad screen.
You must press
to re-enter the Installer
Menu, and then go and re-address one of the
duplicated devices.
