Charger Troubleshooting
ELECTRIC VEHICLE - BATTERY CHARGER
ONBOARD CHARGER FAULT CODES
E-0-0-7
Battery amp hour limit reached
Possible causes:
Poor battery health, discharged
battery, battery not connected correctly, and/or high
parasitic loads on the battery while it is charging.
• Replace the battery pack.
• Check the DC connections.
• Disconnect the parasitic loads.
• This error will automatically clear once the
charger is reset by cycling DC.
E-0-0-8
Battery temperature is out of range
Possible battery temperature sensor error.
• Check the temperature sensor and connections.
• Reset the charger.
• This error will automatically clear once the condi-
tion has been corrected.
E-0-1-2
Reverse polarity error
The battery is not connected to the charger correctly.
• Check the battery connections.
• This error will automatically clear once the condi-
tion has been corrected.
E-0-1-3
Battery does not take current
Battery voltage is detected but the charger is unable
to charge the battery. This can be due to an electrical
device connected between the charger and the bat-
tery, which passes through voltage but not current.
Make sure that the vehicle has original factory set
up.

AC voltage out of range
AC voltage is out of range.
• Connect the charger to an AC source that pro-
vides stable AC between 85 - 270 VAC / 45 - 65
Hz.
• This error will automatically clear once the condi-
tion has been corrected.

Charger failed to initialize
The charger has failed to turn on correctly.
• Disconnect the AC input and battery for 30 sec-
onds. Connect the AC input and battery.

Charger is disabled by external comman (CANbus)
Charger has been disabled by an external controller
over the CANbus network. Contact OEM for instruc-
tion.

Software error
Software upgrade failure or script operation failure.
• Make sure the USB flash drive is properly for-
matted. Reconnect the USB flash drive to the
charger.

Algorithm error
The selected charging profile is incompatible with the
charger software.
• Update the charger software or select a different
charging profile.
• Make sure that the default algorithm is selected.
