9. Connect
the
PPG1
Data Out and ED1 Data In connectors using
a coaxial cable. (Refer to (b) in Figure 9.2.2-1.)
10. Touch [Start] at Measure.
11. Record the error rate ER for the ED Result after measurement is
complete.
12. Connect coaxial terminators to the PPG1 Data Out and ED1
Data In connectors. (Refer to (a) in Figure 9.2.2-2.)
13. Attach a 20 dB fixed attenuator to the PPG1 Data Out
connector.
14. Connect the PPG1 Data Out and Ch A In connectors using a
coaxial cable.
15. Repeat steps 6 and 7.
16. Connect the PPG1 Data Out and ED1 Data In connectors
using a coaxial cable. (Refer to (b) in Figure 9.2.2-2.)
17. Set the [ED] Data Input condition to [Single-Ended XData].
18. Touch [Start] at All Measurements.
19. Record the error rate ER for the ED Result.
ED2 can be tested in the same way with the Option 012.
The test connection diagram is the same as Figure 9.2.2-3.
ED3 and ED4 can be tested in the same way with the Option 014.
