Before Use
<Procedure>
1. Disconnect the BERTWave from the network if connected.
2. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the mainframe, and then turn
the BERTWave power On.
3. After the BIOS screen is displayed, press the F4 key on the keyboard
when [Press F4 to start recovery from Backup Capsule] appears.
4. The recovery software [Drive Backup 11] menu screen appears. Use
the keyboard cursor keys to select [Normal Mode], and then press
[Enter].
5. The menu screen is displayed after approximately 2 minutes. Select
and double-click [Simple Restore Wizard].
6. At the [Welcome to the Paragon Simple Restore Wizard] screen, click
[Next].
7. At the [What to restore] screen, double-click and select the Disk
image on the list, and then click [Next].
8. Click [Yes] on the [Warning] confirmation screen.
Note:
Clicking [Yes] displays the [Progress information] screen,
and recovery starts. Do not click [Cancel] while recovery
is in progress.
9. When recovery is complete, the button name changes from [Cancel]
to [Close].Click [Close].
10. In the [Completing the Paragon Simple Restore Wizard] screen, click
[Finish].The display returns to the menu screen in step 5. To restart
the BERTWave, click [Reboot the computer]. To turn off the power,
click [Power off].
11. The message “FBReseal - Resealing in progress...” appears when
Windows is starting up immediately after performing system
recovery. The Windows desktop will appear after approximately 10
minutes.
12. Install the MX210000A BERTWave Control Software in accordance
with the release note.
