Chapter 7 Measuring Waveform

To set measurement items:
1. Touch [Measure] to open the Measure dialog box.
2. Touch the Measure Item button.
3. Touch [Amplitude/Time], [Amplitude/Time&Mask], or
[Amp/Histogram.
4. When selecting [Amplitude/Time&Mask] or [Amp/Histogram], touch
the [Amp/Time] tab.
5. Touch [Add] at Item Selection.
The screen for selecting the measurement items is displayed.
6. Touch the measurement item.
7. The screen for selecting the channel is displayed.
Touch [Channel A] or [Channel B].
8. The item selected for the Item Selection list is added.
9. The measurement result is displayed in the button of the screen.
Up to 4 items can be selected. If you want to change the item, delete one of
the selected items first.
If the added item is the same as an item selected already for the same
channel, that item cannot be added using Item Selection.
To display measurement area
The marker shows which part of the waveform is measured.
1. Touch [Measuring Area Marker] . The display changes when the
button is pressed. The measurement area is indicated by the marker
(EYE Boundary).
2. The measurement number displayed in the measurement area can
be set by touching the Item text box.
3. The measurement item in the measurement result display area is
displayed in blue characters.
