2. Height Adjustment Mechanism
Description :
The height adjustment mechanism allows the User to adjust the vertical position of the working
surface of the SuperCart, to allow comfortable viewing of the LCD display and access to the
keyboard and other User controls. A plastic release lever, for the height adjustment mechanism,
is located inside the right/front handle of the SuperCart.
A braided steel cable connects between the user’s release handle and the activation lever of the
gas shock that supports the main column of the SuperCart.
An inline barrel-type cable adjuster allows fine calibration of the release point for the handle.
Removal of two screws that retain an access plate, inside the backpack door area at the rear of
the system, is required to make this adjustment.
Rotating the barrel adjuster counter-clockwise (as viewed from the top) will remove slack from
the cable and make the lift release occur with less lever pull.
