20.3.5 Scan Engine Pocket Assembly - Removal/Replacement (SuperCart)
Required Parts
•
P/N: 80239-00 ..............
Assy, Scan Engine Pocket, SuperCart (Zonare)
Required Tools/Equipment
•
Long handled flat-blade screwdriver (3mm width blade, 12” shaft, thin blade)
•
5mm, 12” shank, T-Handle Hex driver
Procedure
STEPS:
1.
Ensure the
z.one
is powered “OFF”
2.
Place AC circuit breaker, located at the rear of the SuperCart, in the “OFF” (down) position
3.
Disconnect the main AC power cord from the rear of the SuperCart
4.
Remove the Scan Engine from the SuperCart (if currently docked)
5.
Remove the six (6) 5mm allen-head retaining screws that secure the Scanner pocket assembly to
the SuperCart chassis
6.
Get the thin tipped, flat-blade screwdriver, to have at the ready
CAUTION
It is very important to follow the following step closely, in not attempting to completely pull the
Scanner Pocket Assembly away from its mounting location on the SuperCart, until AFTER
disconnecting the attachment cable.
7.
While supporting the weight of the Scan Engine Pocket Assembly, slide the assembly along the
guide rails (away from the SuperCart) just far enough to gain access to the connector at the
Backplane, for the attachment of the interface cable
