16.4  “DIAGNOSTIC” Panel Operations 

16.4.1 Foreword 

The basic 

Diagnostics (User Diagnostic Panel) 

screen allows service personnel access to important 

system information and service support processes. The basic page of the User Diagnostic Panel allows 
access to following functions:

Checking of system software revision level 

•

 

Checking system serial number 

•

 

Checking revision levels of major PC boards in 

z.one

 

•

 

Capturing of system status to a “LOG” files 

•

 

Exporting of “LOG” files from internal CompactFlash to external device (USB Memory Stick) 

•

 

Capturing current image screen, and storing as a .BMP file (to USB Memory Stick) 

•

 

Sending the contents of  the internal “LOG” directory (via an internet connection) to ZONARE 

•

 

Checking for availability of software upgrades from remote ZONARE site 

•

 

Remote (over the internet) software upgrade of the 

z.one 

from the ZONARE site 

•

 

Testing of network connectivity
