CAUTION

To prevent potential static shock damage to sensitive electrical components on 
Main Board, use of all proper ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection 
(wearing grounded wrist strap) and avoid direct contact with electronics during 
handling.

Firmly grasp the thumbscrews and pull firmly outward to unplug the Main-I/O board from its 
connection to the SuperCart backplane board. 

7.

 

Handling by the metal exterior frame (only), remove the Main-I/O board assembly out of the 
SuperCart 

 

 

8.

 

Reverse above order for installation of replacement Main-I/O board assembly utilizing the same 
ESD protections, by only handling the new Main-I/O board by the exterior frame

NETWORKING:

The MAC (“Physical” TCP/IP address) address for the 

Z.ONE

 is stored in EPROM on 

the Cart Main Board.  To ensure proper network functionality is maintained, it is 
required that the replacement Main Board be pre-programmed with the MAC address 
that was originally assigned by ZONARE, at the time of first Customer shipment of the 
specific serial number SuperCart.  

•

 

MAC address programming of the Main Board (to match the originally assigned MAC 
address for a specific serial number SuperCart) should have occurred at the factory, 
prior to shipment of the replacement board.  However in the case where the MAC 
address requires programming in the field, it is possible to perform this procedure with 
the assistance (over the telephone) of ZONARE Tech Support.
