Within a few seconds after turning on the SuperCart’s circuit breaker (if the Scan
Engine has been previously docked) the bottom green status LED, located on the
righthand side of the rear I/O panel (at the back of the SuperCart), should begin
flashing to indicate successful recognition of a docked Scan Engine in the pocket.
5.6.5.2
Scan Engine (System Complete) Power-ON
STEPS:
1.
Using the underside of your finger (as shown in the “

press-
and-release
the green-colored (rubber membrane) Power On/Off Switch, to initiate the power
on sequence. The On/Off button should now be illuminated (green) and the SuperCart should
begin displaying ZONARE start-up (“Splash”) screen within approximately 10 seconds.

5.6.6 Powering-OFF
the
z.one
System
NOTE
: The miniCart receives direct AC power (no manual circuit breaker). Therefore anytime
the main AC power cord is connected to an active outlet and the other end connected at the
rear panel of the system, source power is active.
CAUTION
To ensure the integrity of the stored User parameters, and system configuration, the Power
ON/OFF button on the Scan Engine should always be used FIRST, as the method for shutting
down a fully operating z.one (SuperCart and Scan Engine) system.
Failure to allow for a normal power-down sequence by the Scan Engine (such as by improperly
pulling out the AC power cord or toggling the AC circuit breaker on the SuperCart while the
z.one
is still operating), may result in lost patient image data.

Scan Engine Power-OFF
STEPS:
1.
Using the underside of your finger, gently
press-and-release

membrane) Power On/Off Switch, to initiate the start of a power OFF sequence.
