6. Remove the four Philips-head screws (1) retaining the brake assembly cover plate (2), and
remove the plate to expose the brake mechanism
7. Remove the snap E-clip snap ring (3), at the end of the push cam pivot pin (4)
8. Slide the pivot pin (4) out of the brake arm, catching the push cam (8) and noting the
location/order of the three washers (5, 6, 7), as it’s disassembled
9. Apply a then layer of white lithium grease on all surfaces of the slotted track, inside the push cam
10. Replace the failed push cam with the new part; installing the washers in their original locations,
and reversing all previous steps to complete the installation
