Open the I/O access door at the rear of the Scan Engine, and connect the docking connector
cable assembly to the mating connectors on the Scan Engine
WARNING
To maintain the integrity of the electronic equipment within the
z.one
, it is critically
important that a specific sequence be followed at all times, for turning ON or OFF system
power. The sequences listed below should always be followed.
5.6.5 Powering-ON

z.one
NOTE
: The miniCart receives direct AC power (no manual circuit breaker). Therefore anytime
the main AC power cord is connected to an active outlet and the other end connected at the
rear panel of the system, source power is active.
5.6.5.1 SuperCart
Power-ON
STEPS:
1.
Make sure the AC Main Circuit Breaker on the SuperCart is in the “
ON
” (Up) position (see
illustration below).

NOTE: SuperCart is only in a “ready” state at this point, and will not begin operation
until a Scan Engine has been docked, and the Scan Engine is powered on.
