Remove the nine (9) M3 x 6 Philips-head screws (up from the bottom) that secure the assembly to 
the SuperCart chassis.  Remove the two (2) upper securing M3 x 6 Philips-head screws from their 
respective hole locations at the top corners of the User Interface Assembly

 

 

 

 

 

CAUTION

 

 

To prevent potential static shock damage to sensitive electrical components on UI 
board, use of all proper ESD (Electro Static Discharge) protection (wearing 
grounded wrist strap) and avoid direct contact with electronics during handling.

Lift upward partially on the User Interface assembly, and while holding it in position, disconnect 
the end of the user interface cable that attaches to the mating connector on the User Interface 
board 

 

 

 

 

 

8.

 

Completely remove the User Interface assembly from the SuperCart.

 

9.

 

Reverse the previous steps for installation of the replacement assembly.

 

NOTE: 

 

The rubber strip that covers the two mounting screws on the top of the UI, is not 

symmetrical, and should only be installed in one way.  The strip should be installed with 
the “beveled edge” surface side, facing towards the front of the Cart.  Attempting to mount 
the strip reversed direction will result

 in the strip not wanting to lay flush in the recessed 

groove in the UI panel.

 

10.

 

Power on the Z.ONE and test the operation of the trackball and all keys on the User Interface, to 
ensure full functionality.
