Lift cosmetic panel vertically and remove the LCD monitor cables from the cosmetic panel so that
they are free.
5.
Disconnect the speaker cable and remove the cosmetic panel.
Removal of the Tilt / Swivel Support Base
1.
Remove six (6) T27 Torx screws.
NOTE: This may require the use of a T27 Torx Bit Socket and appropriate Socket Wrench to break
loose. The screws are initially torqued to 107 Inch/Lbs. or 12.09 Newton/Meters.
2.
Un-wrap the LCD monitor’s cables from the Tilt / Swivel support shaft. (Make note of how they
were wrapped for re-assembly.)
3.
Remove the Tilt / Swivel Support Base and set aside.
Removal of the UI Area Sheet Metal
1.
Remove eight (8) T27 Torx screws.
NOTE: This may require the use of a T27 Torx Bit Socket and appropriate Socket Wrench to break
loose. The screws are initially torqued to 107 Inch/Lbs. or 12.09 Newton/Meters.
